General arguments about universalism

David Bentley Hart, “Is Everyone Saved? Universalism and the Nature of Persons” lecture on YouTube (about 2 hours long). I also strongly recommend his book That All Shall Be Saved: Heaven, Hell, and Universal Salvation (2019).

David Bentley Hart, “What Is a Truly Free Will?” I do not believe free will exists, but if one wanted to hear the perspective of a universalist who does believe in free will, this is among the best you can find.

The Unforgivable Sin: Evidence You Have Not Committed It, from a book by Murray J. Harris, is an excellent response to infernalists who cite “blasphemy against the Holy Spirit” in favor of eternal punishment.

Resources about universalism in the early Church

Ancient History of Universalism, from the time of the apostles to the fifth general council, with an appendix tracing the doctrine to the Reformation by Hosea Ballou. This book is a bit dated and has enough bias to deserve a double-checking of the original sources; but, having said that, it is a magnificent starting place and has a staggering number of citations of the Early Church Fathers.

LGBTQ resources

The Biblical Case for LGBTQ Inclusion and The Need For Reform by the Reformation Project. I have considered writing an article responding to every verse cited by homophobes/transphobes, but it seems unnecessary because RP’s resources are so good. I also recommend using gaychurch.org and Church Clarity to find an inclusive church to attend.
